Kernow ramp up preparations for Cascadia clash with friendly win

Kernow have increased the level of their preparations for their upcoming clash against Cascadia following their 7-1 win against Camelford FC.

After quickly going ahead, the Cornish side doubled their advantage through a spectacular overhead kick from striker Mark Goldsworthy.

Two then became three thanks to an own goal, which provided the Camels with an uphill challenge. And it was 4-0 before the break with Goldsworthy netting again.

A neat piece of play from Dan Jennings allowed Billy Pallfrey to make it five. And despite Camelford scoring a consultation goal, Kernow were rampant and fully deserved the 7-1 victory.

With the upcoming game against James Nichols’ side less than a week away, getting minutes on the board should prove vital.

Whilst, Nichols’ men are also making large strides of their own ahead of the match at the Fenton Engineering Stadium, and want to add former Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell to their ranks.
