Yesterday, we selected the five FA Cup ties that most caught the eye of Prost International.

FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round preview: Five ties to watch

The draw was so good, that we thought five more were also worth looking at:

Sutton United vs Bromley – Saturday 3pm

This all National League tie sees a South London derby take place in the form of Sutton United vs Bromley with the hosts currently occupying a play-off spot after their opening four games whilst their opponents lie in the bottom half of the table.

Both teams have experienced life as a side in the First Round before and it could be an interesting sight to see who breaks a tight deadlock and grab a place as one of the 32 heading into Round One.

Maldon & Tiptree vs Haringey Borough – Saturday 3pm

These are two teams who have had rich history in this competition in recent years.

Maldon & Tiptree of the Isthmian North managed a brilliant run to the Second Round last season whilst Haringey of the Isthmian Premier managed a run to the First Round little less than two years ago.

This could be a test to see who can replicate their best runs should they manage a win here.

Leiston vs Barnet – Saturday 3pm

Leiston of the Southern Premier League Central welcome Barnet of the National League to Victory Road for this potential thriller of a cup tie.

Leiston find themselves rooted to the bottom of their league whilst their visitors find themselves in a respectable mid-table position. Leiston last got to the Fourth Qualifying Round stage back in 2016 before bowing out to Westfield in dramatic fashion and should they beat Barnet here, they will equal their record run.

Barnet have a great record and have not exited the competition before the First Round since 2003.

Concord Rangers vs Chippenham Town – Saturday 3pm

This all-National League South affair has one thing in common.

Both teams will equal their record run should either progress into the next round.

Concord have only reached the First Round on one occasion whilst Chippenham have done it three times.

Weirdly enough, less than a 10 minutes drive away, Concord’s local rivals Canvey Island will be playing host to 400 people whilst this game is set to be played behind closed doors.

Chippenham Town incidentally have been the last team out of the hat in the last three rounds.

Bishops Stortford vs St Albans City – Monday 7.45pm (Live on BT Sport 1)

Isthmian Premier side Bishops Stortford welcome National League South side St Albans City for this Monday night local derby of sorts to end what will have been an eventful FA Cup weekend.

Both teams have got experience and past history in the proper rounds and with both being very high placed in their personal divisions, it’s set to be an interesting thriller of a match to oversee.

The First Round Draw:

The draw for the First Round of the FA Cup will take place as part of the live coverage involving Bishops Stortford and St Albans City on Monday night on BT Sport 1 with National League side Chorley already in the draw given they received a bye at the expense of Macclesfield Town folding last month.

With the draw no longer being regionalised, it could mean that a team like Hartlepool could have to travel to  Torquay United or see Eastleigh travelling to Sunderland across the weekend of November 6th-9th 2020.
